Mother
Angelica goes
Global with God

When
Mother Angelica founded EWTN in 1981,
it was a US cable network.
Today its programming is beamed 24 hours a day,
7 days a week, via six satellites,
to the entire globe, and will always remain free-to-air
The Network is totally funded by voluntary donations,
trusting in Divine Providence.
Its goal is to spread the Word of God.
It has been
said that God must have a sense of humour,
to choose a religious sister in a contemplative order to set up a TV network.
Do we need any further illustration that His ways are not our ways?
God has no need of secular logic or secular methodology.
He calls us to give of ourselves, and chooses insignificant people to do it.
"If we are willing to do the
ridiculous,
God will to the miraculous!"
