APOSTLE'S CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.

He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead.

He ascended into heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the ressurection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

72. PSALM 119
Out of the depths I cry to you,
O Lord,
Lord, hear my voice!
If, You O Lord, should mark our guilt,
Lord, who would survive?
But with you is found forgiveness:
for this we revere you.
My soul is waiting for the Lord,
more than watchman for daybreak.
Because with the Lord thereis mercy
and fullness of redemption,
Israel indeed he will redeem
from all its iniquity.
Eternal rest grant to them , O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine on them.
May they rest in peace. Amen.<

73. CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
Most sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us, Yours and Yours we wish to be; but to be more surely united with You, each one of us freely consecrates himself today to Your most Sacred Heart. Many have never known You; many, too, have rejected You. Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them all to Your Sacred Heart. May You be recognized as Savior by all those who still in darkness of disbelief. Draw them into the light and kingdom of God.

Grant, O Lord, to Your Church freedom and immunity from harm; give peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound from pole to pole with one cry: Praise to the divine Heart that wrought our salvation; to it be glory and honor forever. Amen.

74. FOR RELATIVES WHO HAVE NOT THE FAITH
Merciful Lord, who prayed that there be one flock and one shepherd, I ask the light of faith for those who are related to me and do not know You in Your Eucharistic Presence. Give them the joy of Your protecting presence. Bring them into the one fold of which You are the master and Lord. Forgive them their sins and teach them the way of repentance. In the end bring them into the larger circle of Your family, to God our Father, to Mary our Mother, and to You our beloved Brother. Amen.

75. PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS
Lord of the harvest, your Word finds a home in our hearts, calls us into community and invites to generous service of the human family. Bless with courage and spirit your priestly people. called to full participation in the one Body of Christ. May many choose to respond in public service to your call offered in Jesus' name. Amen.

76. DEDICATION TO JESUS
Lord Jesus Christ, take all my freedom, my memory, my understanding, and my will. All that I have and cherish you have given me. I surrender it all to be guided by your will. Your love and your grace are wealth enough for me. Give me these, Lord Jesus, and ask for nothing more. Amen.

77. RENEW 2000 PRAYER FOR THE NEW MILLENIUM
Grascious God, we are your people embraced by your love. We thank you for your presence with us throughout all time. As we celebrate the 2000 years since the birth of Jesus...Create us anew. Liberate us from that which keeps us from you. Enable us to recreate our world and restore justice. Heal us from every form of sin and violence. Transform us to live your Word more profoundly. Reconcile us so enemies becomes friends. Awaken us to the sacred; nurture our relationships; enliven our Parishes; reunite our families. Fill us with joy to celebrate the fulness of life. Empower us to be a community of love growing in your likeness. Amen.

78. O SALUTARIS HOSTIA
O saving Victim, open wide
The gate of Heaven to us below,
Our foes press on ev'ry side;
Your aid supply, your strength bestow.

To your great name be enless praise,
Immortal Godhead, One in Thee;
O grant us endless length of days
In our true native land to be. Amen

79. PRAYER FOR THOSE WHOSE LIVES I TOUCHED
Beloved Shepherd of Souls! As I tread into the sunset of my life, I grow anxious for the spiritual welfare of souls who came to know me. It grieves me to think of the offenses they may have committed because of words or deeds of mine. I have in mind those who were my close responsibility as well as whom I sponsored in Baptism and whose spiritual condition is no longer known to me.

In Your merciful goodness I now plead for the pardon of the souls who because of me have lost Your favor. Humbly I implore You, let not one of them be lost, but when they leave this world may they find glorious entry into the Kingdom of Heaven!

On behalf of those who may need to atone for offenses I may have caused them to commit, I offer You any infirmities or sufferings I am to undergo during the remaining years of my life. Dear Shepherd of Souls, grant them eternal life. Amen.

80. PRAYER FOR THE DEPARTED LOVED ONES
Almighty God, Who by the love which You have for men, have willed to take our humanity, to live a life of hard work, to suffer a most cruel Passion, and finally to die on the Cross, I beseech You, by the infinite merits purchased for us with Your Precious Blood, look mercifully on the suffering which is endured by the holy souls in Purgatory. Accept, O merciful God, the prayers which I offer for them, and call them to the glory of Heaven. I recommend to You the souls of my relatives, friends and benefactors, and in a special manner of those to whom I may have been an occasion of sin by my bad example.

Most Holy Virgin, Mother of Mercy, Comforter of the afflicted, intercede for those souls, that, by your powerful intercession, they may be admitted to enjoy that Kingdom which is prepared for them. Amen.
